I have just done a backyard makeover of a 202 red (bit of a hone ,rings,bearings etc.) How long does it take for rings to bed in !! , it just when car sits at idle for short time and then rev it up it gets a fair amount of blue smoke . the motors done about 85km since put in car.

did you do anything to the head as it sounds like valve stem seals to me

Were they chromoly rings?? But yeah cut55 sounds correct, pull the rocker cover off and make sure the seals havent moved, thats if you can see them
