rebiulding a '51' clevo and found that one of my heads are cracked(#@#@# it)...lol....stuff happens! have'nt got $2,300 for a set of bare ally afr heads....cant find to many 'cheap' open chambered heads, how ever i have found a set of closed chamber heads, if i use those.i would have a comp ratio in the order of 11.1, what fuel would ya suggest i use....methanol?....lol

Measure your cranking pressure. I run 195psi and a mate runs 215psi. I'm not a big fan of optimax anymore. I had issues with a shell servo selling me a tank of mud. I didn't enjoy the 4->6 weeks it took me to clean everything out.
