my diff is shot ,i can get an ea wagon diff free can anyone tell me if they are compatible any help greatly appreciated

Should be the same diff, I'm just not sure of the mounting points. I think the wagon has the leaf rear end in the ea. If your car has the leaf springs should be a straight swap. If not you can always use the guts of the wagon diff to rebuild your one.

thanks Paul ,yes they both have leaf suspension.I think the ea has rear disc mine has drums is there any difficulty converting the brake system

You'll probably need different handbrake cables and I think there is some sort of valve in the master cylinder that has to come out - a good brake shop should know for sure about that

You will have to use the EA's rear disks as the drums won't work on the EA diff. as mentioned before use the EA's handbrake cable & master cylinder and all should be sweet. Jim...

thanks to all fitted the ea diff everything seems to work ok ,used the h/brake cable off the ea wgn ;fitted perfectly
