Any one bought an acl piston kit before do they know wether it includes the con rods? If not will the con rods off the old pistons fit the new ones or is it recomended to get new ones? engines a red 308 original everything

All Piston kits are just that, kits that allow you to change your Pistons. They include Pistons, Gudgeon Pins, Circlips and usually Rings. They always fit the ConRods of whatever motor you specify. They never include Con Rods. You don't need new Con Ro |

Hi Glenn,
Just in case you ever need to replace a conrod, 253 and 308 conrods are identical (as are 173 and 202 ones for the 6 cyl guys).

Qute is almost correct, but you need to be careful with interchangeability. Most red 6cyl conrods are the same, except for some XU-1 that had the predecessor to the blue motor rod. Starfire 4cyl, blue and black 6cyl had heavier rods with bigger bolts. The |
