Hi ppl, new to site and new to restoring vehicles, restoring a HJ ute, auto with a 253 motor, problem is after removing all the rust and not bogging up like previous owner/s, the Ute looks good with new paint etc, but it takes forever to warm up, bit like me I guess, when I put it into gear, fwrd or rev, it stalls under load, am no mechanic, just a reasonable Mig welder and spray painter, want to sell the Ute ASAP, before that I want to make sure she is running right, needs another radiator, saving up for that, any tips on how to fix the stalling problem (besides some c4) will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers and a great site

Hi Waz, the Holley shouldnt be a problem, two idle mix screws and one throttle screw. Is it a BIG Holley or a little one ? How big at the extractors (2, 2.5 or 3") ?. They wont start doin much till you hit 3000-5000 revs. But a loss of backpressure at low
