I bought a $600 VN replaced the power steering hose and bought 2nd hand lowered suspension. I whacked on a set of Ultimate pads and Castrol SRF (free from my sponsors) The car now owes me $770 and is reg till June. We took it out to Oran Park on Saturday 16 April and it did over 200 laps of the South circuit without missing a beat. Unfortunately many of the more expensive cars would not have handled this kind of pounding. Great engine, check the gearbox and all the accessories. Dont be fooled that paying more will definately get you a better car. Some people are just greedy and want too much for their cars.(hoping some sucker will come along) Best wishes on the trip, I took my EH there last year.

Usually the fan comes on at too high a temp or you have a pin hole sized leak somewhere. The main concern is when it overheats at speed. This is a pic of my

They are at the back of the engine bay, just in front of the windscreen. A bit of a b**ch to reach, but easy enough to replace. The other thing to watch out for is driveline vib

They are at the back of the engine bay, just in front of the windscreen. A bit of a b**ch to reach, but easy enough to replace. The other thing to watch out for is driveline vibration. Is not terminal, but can be a major annoyance over long rides. __________________________________________ Keep the shiny side up, and the greasy side down.
