There was a V6 auto box with an adapter kit to suit a small block Chev in Parts Peddler magazine a month or so ago.

I have a Toyota Supra Turbo R154 behind my stroked 355. Very strong, great ratios and with a short shifter kit is great to flick around?

Boy havent I heard this before ! Finding a gearbox that copes with big horses and torque in a manual all ways ends in this type of discussion, which box is best or the one you can still get parts for to rebuild it. I dont think it will ever end untill a c

Im keen on the 2spd powerglide ! I think Iv got one laying around here some were ! :-/ Funny you should say that one of the first cars my uncle had ( his 3 years older than me and no Im not thirteen as the fast lane profile makes out ! I just wish I was.)

$550 for a complete conversion including tailshaft, crossmember etc and a red 6 attached out of a HJ sedan. You can pick it up tomorrow if you like.

I have found the answer 13 speed road ranger good for 1500 plus ponys just might have to beef up the springs and may be a b$%*h to bolt up. HE HE Cheers Jim.
