Hi all,
Having prob's with maintaining a good idle. After a good fang down the road to blow out the cob webs it seems o.k. but round town short runs it drops idle rev's to about 500 and starts to hiccup. it also smells rich at rest. have replaced plugs, CAS is fairly new. Codes were O.K but not sure what to look for now. Motors done about 250k km

Any idea's on where to start?
is there a code that would indicate a sensor problem?

Hi scratcher.

The 2.0 litre non-turbo is basically the same as our 3.0 litre non-turbo (RB30E).

Common items causing this problem are air flow meter, oxygen sensor & ECU. Assuming the fuel pressure is correct, the ignition system in good nick & you
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Thanks for the pointers
How do you test the air flow meter?
