Hi All;
Just a quick one. Can I put the KC manifold that came off a black 308 onto a red 308? My old inlet manifold has corroded through and I can obtain this KC one on the cheap. Any info would be greatly appreciated;

Yes, if it's a KC 253308. You can pick these by the three bolt holes in the centre of the manifold on each side. The centre hole is for a red, and the other two are for a blue or black pre Walkinshaw. |

How will he go with the EGR cutouts for the black manifold ? Reds dont have the EGR (yipeee).

Early reds don't have EGR ports but ADR27A red motors do. It doesn't matter if the heads are the early type as the later manifolds have the EGR crossover blocked off by the gasket. You can actually use a blue/black manifold on pre pollution red heads, but |

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I will grab it then. It's so hard to find a decent 4 barrel manifold these days that doesn't have corrosion. It was either this or buy a brand new one - more than I can afford. Thanks again:
