HELP! I have an 88 ford laser hatch that I've just replaced the rear wheel bearing on..All was fine for a week then I started getting mega droning noise over 60k/ph..What is it?? New wheel bearing was well greased and placed?!? Have I missed something or could it be from something else? Any ideas?? THANKS>

Check your handbrake adjustment. Might be the rear brakes not releasing properly. Just a hunch.

I'd take the wheel off again and try and nip it up a bit more.

I don't know how the rear wheel bearing on a laser is held on, but I do know that bearings sometimes need nipping up after a week or so of driving.
