hi all im tryin to get my gauge surroud out of my hq and cant do it its the part with the vent leavers on it can anybody help

As I remember it, do this: You need to remove the headlight switch. Pull the knob all the way out (like you are turning your headlights on), then get your hand up behind the dash and you should feel a little knob on the light switch behind the dash.
