Hi guys, im restoring a HZ Sandman.but the trouble im having trying to find out if the fuel cap is just a screw on type,is it chromed or just painted the same colour as the van,any help will be great.. Mikey

All HZ Sandmans are base models ie HOLDEN (as opposed to Kingswoods), so it should be a painted standard cap, however lockable chrome caps and splash guards were optional so these could be used in an anal restoration. I'll check my HZ sandman features lis

There are two caps,locking or non locking.Rare Spares has the two caps, made by the original supplier to GMH.The part numbers are :Locking SL27EC and non locking 27EC.The non locking cap is what was there originally,however a lot of people had a preferenc

My sandman has a chrome lockable cap and chrome splash/ drip guard.
I have an original sales brochure and it shows standard cap painted same as car and no drip guard.
