Hi guys A couple of years ago someone replaced my fuel pump to get me out of a bit of trouble. Now she's coughing and farting every time I start her up (and smells a bit petrolly when driving along).... Should I have gotten the carby adjusted or something after the pump was replaced? Nearly forgot.... "She" is hq with a red 202 and extractors. Cheers

I think you have visited the wrong forum but it could be a number of things. Could be carby, leads, timing, plugs or anything. Start by checking the plugs and leads to make sure all the cylinders are firing. It could be something as simple as that. Ch

yer id be looking at plugs leads and distributor. also look at the choke on the carby. you shouldn't need to adjust the carby when the fuel pump is replaced, the carby may need adjusting, the fuel smell may be a small leak from the carby, which may be lea
