Looks way too modern for 1968 I think.
Weren't 8-tracks the option, and cassette only became available years later? |
Cheers,

No the 8 track wasnt an option till HX/HZ I think.
The HK had an Airchief tape player as an option. But they were a very expensive option at the time and not many people took up the offer. I have only ever seen 2 in my whole life, but there is a pic

Hi Guys.
Thanks for that, e-mail sent.
The unit this guy has is a cheap nasty unit from the mid/late 70s & is in no way close to genuine.
To put the record straight, Nasco did release an Air Chief cassette player in HR/HK/HG/HT as an underdash ad |

Yeah, it's a sad state of affairs Terry - and the seller even ignores an offer of help from a genuine enthusiast too!!!!
PS - I'll drop that other switch & some goodies in this week. |
Cheers,

Hi Guys.
Yes, he did reply to my e-mail, & apologised, in a fashion.
He gave lame excuse about a mate telling him it was a genuine factory thing out of a Brougham.
He hasn't changed the add yet, he probably doesn't know how to.
