i think its a couple of things, crowd response, amount of tyre smoke and vechicle control

Yep, So having a stonking Hot Six isnt really going to give you an instant upper hand.

Tire smoke can be made using a Higher ratio Gear in the Diff. (Turning the Tires faster)

I also think having a nice looking body, with a nice set of wheels will

well thats the plan really, nice body, wheels and bonnet off with neatly detailed engine bay.

There is the 265 HEMI Six :))

Its been done a few times, in drag racing. And they Look damn close to a Red once Painted. Most people want/Dont even notice the New Motor!

i kan tell u now if u dont mind having a chryslyer engin under the bonnet i sujest you go 4 the hemi they are bloody hard to beat they will smoke alot of stock 8s

i haven goten a once of made cam out of a 186 that was in a drag car. I got it because the motor was sold and put into a speed boat but the cam was so lumpy that they couldnt get the dog clutch to engage, so i got the cam and the lifters for $150 which im

havent goten as far as i wish i was at this stage, due to spending all my money on my vs. i will start a thread in the garage and post some pics soon. But im really going to get into it this week.

me and some of my mates have a small business started call nokternal motors, we weld diffs, convert 6 cylinder cars to 8 cylinders, and heaps of other stuff like that. we are getting some shirts and stickers made soon.
