Just interested in checking the codes on the compliance plate. I have a HZ Prem with 308/T400 and (I assume) 2.78 10 bolt diff (haven't looked yet!)) Anyway the plate says 8P35THH962930Z, does this coincide with the car I have, I know 8 is the GM code, 35 means it's a wagon, but as for the rest??

Hi Peter.
This number is the VIN number, off the VIN plate. The info you need about transmission & diff ratio is on the bottom line of the body ID plate.
To answer your question
8 = GM-Holden
P = Premier
35 = Wagon
T = 5 Litre (308) V8

Thanks for that, pretty much confirms what I have, a 2.60 diff hey, gee that's a tall diff ratio!
