I have to replace the entire front floor in a HQ van, fire wall to front crossmember, as it has been badly repaired & butchered for a 3 speed floor shift, what I would like to know is there any change in the floor pan from HQ to HZ & has anyone done a full front floor in a HQ? any tips? They're basically the same, but there are some differences.
HQ-HZ 60, 70 and 80 body stlyes with column shift are all the same part number 2817726. The floor shift model lists a different part number (HZ on) of 92006138, but this will be for the hole i |

Don't try to do the whole floor at once if you cut it all out you risk the body sagging and doors not fitting. Do one side of the tunnel at a time and do the sills separately for the same reason. It's more work but safer unless you make up jigs to hold it

I've never had a Holden body sag before. Every one I've ever tried this with lines up perfectly. HK-WB included, even full front firewall and floor, with joints through the windscreen pillars using a WB Statesman firewall and HQ 1-tonner rear half. We eve |

With the cut and shuts, yes, but the outer sills were cut back further and mated into the factory joins with the tonner quarters. With floorpan replacements the sills have stayed as is, just unpicked the floor to inner sill joints. The major problem with |
