I know they will physically fit, but will the pinouts be the same? Also.... What is "Hydratrak" I know it is found in VR etc IRS diffs, but exactly what does it mean? Over to you Mick..... :-)

As commodorenut has stated, the VR assembly will not work in a VN. The pin-out is different at the plugs on the rear & you will get a nice display of smoke if you try. Dr Terry.

What is the difference between a V6 dash & a V8 dash....is it just the tacho, or is there other differences? If you just swapped the tachos, could you turn a V6 dash into a V8 dash?

The speedo itself has no bearing on the odo reading in the L3 dash, it's just like any other gauge say like

The "level 2" cluster is probably the best one for you. It contains the centrally mounted speedo, with a tacho on one side, and a fuel
