They were both. Turns out the colour scheme and tranny combo is a myth. I found that out off a Goss owner only a month or so back. Until then I thought the same thing as XAGTRPO.

I HAVE A BLUE AND WHITE SUPERBIRD SHELL THAT IS FACTORY MANUAL, NEVER COME ACROSS ANY OF THE OTHER 199? MY OTHER BLUE AND WHITE SUPERBIRD AND ALL MY FRIENDS ARE AUTOS! ANYONE ELSE COME ACROSS MANY SUPERBIRDS AT ALL, THE ONE ON AUSSIE MUSCLE CAR SALES LOOK

i can definantly say that my goss "emerald fire & polar white"(green/white) is factory manual & even fitted with disc brake diff from new(b/w)
