I have posted this on other forums but to no avail.

has any one here heard of, or used any of the Richmond Gear range?

basically i am after a powertrax locker for my VN, but it is proving near immpossible.

the problem is its an American company, for american cars.
which US car has the same diff centre and carier as my VN BW78 28 spline LSD
anyone help?

Hi Fatboy, because the diff in your VN was made here in Australia I don't think they are available on any yank cars. Your best bet is an LSD, Hydratrac or Spool depending on what you want to do with your machine.

if you're driving it on public roads a locked diff or spool is illegal and will kill your handling, forcing you into an accident.

If the car is staying relatively stock there's probably no need to install a 9 inch. It would be much more cost effective rebuilding the stock unit instead of purchasing a 9 inch and setting it up to go into a VN, altering the tailshaft, etc,etc:-)

Hi Fatboy, just a bit of history first the unit your looking at is a copy of a detroit unit that came out about 16 years back and was taken of the market about a year later. ( crap unit ) They relaunched the unit again about 5 years back and are only used
