guys, what deg and angle of timing is required for a 202 running on 91, valve seats are done for this fuel.

Hard to say. I was running the original 6 degrees of timing on my 202 after having it rebuilt fairly close to stock, including the valve seats. Had it dyno'ed and it came out with 16 degrees of static timing. Yup... 16... way off the scale on the harmo

Be careful about setting up the timing, as the timing rings on the balancers can move, and the initial timing is not really where it is at anyway.
What I find has worked for me (regardless of timing marks) is to set up to get it running at all, then a |

As JABBA has said I also find it better to adjust timing by ear advance it till it pings then retard it a little
If all drivers were enthusiasts there would be less accidents.

BroNZ,
You asked about plugs. If you've still got a stock engine, with the original points-type distributor, leave the plug gap at 0.9mm. If you've fitted electronic ignition, try opening them to 1.5mm, see if it runs better. If you get it all setup

thanx guys - wicked 6-10 and maybe 16? our ULP 96 is about $1.36/l. ok i'll keep my plugs at 0.9mm.

To be honest, I really don't know. It was running okay at 1.5mm, except pinging quite a lot under load, which was possibly a symptom of the dizzy still being setup for a black 202, not a red 202.
