Hi all,

I have a HZ Kingy wagon with the manual winder on the tailgate. On the weekend the winder wound down but the glass stayed put. Wiggled it down opened the tailgate, removed the inner panel and sure enough it has pulled out of the support channel. It is a reasonably new replacement Rare Spares item so should be OK still. Can anyone advise the best way to refix the glass to this channel so it doesn't happen again? Can't open the back until it's fixed! The glass runs freely in the channels on the side so I don't think binding was the issue here.

Thanks

Peter

I have used contact adhesive in the past. Put it togetther wet & the glue acts as a lubricant but once it's dry it's strong.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a go. Need to fix it now, just discovered my other car (HZ Premier wagon) has been stolen from the carpark near work, that's just what I needed!!

Thanks Mick, I hope so too. The Albury police reckon it'll be recovered, but missing a few 'sort after' bits no doubt!! :(
