i've had a good look and there are no seat belt mounts on the rear parcel shelf of my HK kingswood, however there are 4 factory lower seat belt mounts (with bolts), did holden only use 3 lap belts for the rear seat??? I am now considering buying rare spares seatbelts but want 2 lap/sash belts in the rear with one centre lap belt, anyone used these belts? has anyone installed parcel shelf seatbelt mounts in a HK sedan? are there any factory measurements? Lastly did front bench seat models have 2 or 3 front seats + belts?
Thanks guys...

Most Holdens that were factory fitted with seat belts and a bench front seat had a lap belt in the middle. I've drawn a blank on the rears (red wine again) in a HK, but I think they were only lap belts. I'll look at one of my Monaros tonight. I'm pretty s |

Hi Guys.
HKs didn't get factory rear seat belts at all, front 2 only. The rears weren't factory fitted until mid HG.
The ones you see have been dealer fitted or fitted at some time in the last 35+ years. I don't think it's compulsory to have rear se |

My HK Kingswood sailed through a Safety Certificate inspection (in Qld) with only the 2 belts for the outboard front seating positions, Dr Terry is correct, I believe.

On a kind of related topic, does anyone have any experience with baby capsules in the front seat of a van/ute? I have buckets in my HQ and have been told you can get an engineer to rig up a baby seat in the middle. I'm also contemplating putting a bench s

baby capsules aren't usually reccomended for front seats but AFAIK it's not illegal, our baby seats had two options...forward facing and rearward facing (depends on age of kid) both ways of fitting required (at least) a lap belt to hold the capsule down o
