Reading through several old posts, I have noticed that there appears to be a way to identify what the trimatic came out of?? I have a trimatic in the car and was wondering what it came out of, it has a 360 degree bellhousing and shift on the right hand side, so I have been told it is WB commercial?? Anyway if someone can id it I would be gratefull!
Plate on LHS reads F gmh B Cat = A then serial number = 0673250
thanks Matt |

It could also be an early box with the commodore bellhousing bolted on

Hi Guys.
The FB code Tri-Matic was fitted to late HZ 202 (3.3). It ha a 'full-circle bellhousing like a Commodore but has the RH shift.
It was used in all HZs except the 1 tonner with the 4.44 diff ratio (different speedo drive gear)

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
