I have to change the lock in my HZ prem as it won't click closed properly (won't twist enough to open/close). I just can't remember how the lock is removed from the glovebox lid? Anyone done this, and if so what's the procedure?

Many thanks

Peter

Hi Peter

You say you don't REMEMBER how to do this very simple task?

If you get a workshop manual, you'll find (like the 48/215 through to the HR) that it held in by a couple of screws, and any wrecker would be able to get you heaps of them.

Open your glove box lid (it is easier to remove the lid so you can sit down and be comfortable for what can be sometimes a quick easy job or a drawn out annoying little fidgity job) and flick the catch up to the closed position. Looking at the catch from

Hi older than HZ owner,

Seems you are having some lapses yourself, most would know that HQ and later don't use that barrel with one screw on the back, time to back for a nap old fella!!!!
