Hi all,

I have this Ford steering column at home, any ideas what it may be off?? Hope the link to the photo works!!



Never late with a 308!!
202 and three on the tree, can't get more Aussie than that!!

It's almost the same as XA-XC columns. Whats got me stumped is the ignition barrel. My guess is it's an X eries column earlier than 1971.

I'm pretty sure it's an XC one. XC barrel is different to XA and XB.

xc to xf it would be one of them,like paul said xa/xb were different.im not sure if xd to xf were different to xc but it would have to be one of them.

my guess is XC

the very last few of the XYs were the first to get steering locks and they were the same as XAs.

did they put colum change manuals in XDs on ?????

i dont think you would still find too many colum shift ones left ??

yeah my mates dad bought a xd sedan new (still has it)its a 3 speed coloum manual.alot of xd to xf utes had a bench seat and coloum manual.
