Hi vintageholden.

The idiot would be the person that paid the money.

But it is very rare, you don't see many HKs with these instruments & it has very low miles.

As I have said before, HK/T/G's are not my speciality but didn't all HK's have the strip type speedo and HT/HG's use the round one as depicted in that ad?

Gotta agree, though, a grand is waaay too rich for that. I wonder how many times the odometer has

Dr Terry is right. This guy isn't an idiot, as long as he doesn't mis-represent the item he's selling. And it doesn't look like he has. The photos and even his wording, suggest that it's seen better days.

If some poor fool wants to pay $1000 for it,

I don't see its a ripoff anyway. It's not the starting/buy price, it's not misrepresented, if it's worth that to someone well that is their business.
After all, someone pays around $800 for an EH clock or The Monaro Story. Like anything else it's worth w

I think that putting a ridiculous buy it now price plus a reasonably realistic start price isn't such a stupid idea. look at all the free exposure he has gained from this forum alone. (come on we all went and had a look didn't we)

Fellas,
Having reviewed all the evidence here ( I am a lawyer by day and a Holden fan by night) I think it is fair to say that someone has just made a silly mistake or a typo error in the posting on ebay.

We know it is not worth $1000.00 and so does t

I'm with Jim on this one. The amount of exposure gained from the controversy is all free advertising!

Hell, even I went & had a look, and looked thru the sellers other items too.

I never would have clicked on it, even browsing ebay, as I'm not inte
