guy's i am putting my genie extractors on the 308, what length ht bolts do i use.

When i put extractors on my car,i took the standard bolt to the fastners and bolt shop and got the bolts matched to allen key style of head. Didnt bother with the gaskets and just bolted it up. i also used the socket with the allen key bit in the end i go

Just go to your local auto parts store and buy a set of Redline extractor bolts . They are 3/8 UNC bolts ( correct me if I am wrong guys ) but they have a small hex head which suits a 7/16 spanner . |

Suggest you buy a tube of anti-sieze to coat the bolt threads when replacing them Edmundo. May save grief further down the track if you need to remove the headers. |

If you don't have a tube of neversieze or similar, put down your spanner and go and buy some, it goes a long way, lasts forever and will save you or whoever comes after you a lot of heart break. I wont even fit number plate bolts without it. allen head
