please help, my EB2 has become somewhat gutless, today on the drive home a mitsubishi galant, beat the **** out of me, from the mark and down the straight, the car still seems to have more balls than a 4cyc, but it just does not get up and go like it used to, i remember a time when on a slightly damp road, dropping it into 2nd and planting it would get the 265 wide tires spinning, now all it does it pull away slowly, i have done only one mod, the intake is now a POD filter not the ****ty air box, and i have had the leads replaced with 8mm leads from auto\bahn, not cheepy ones, and it has also since had a 2 1/2 sports exhaust on it. i mean come on my mothers ea, 3.9 carby beats my 4.0 MPFI!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME

take in to your local mech and get him to have a proper look at it and he should be able to tell you where it is going wrong. is it starting ok or is it pretty rough.

Sounds like base ignition timing may be out a few degrees, something else that can cause problems is cat convertor may have melted down causing too much back pressure.
if it ain't broke we can improve it.
