Im wondering if any one has any ideas about putting subs into a VS ute? There is not a lot of room in the cab and i dont think i could fit them behind the seat. I have a 10" under the tray, next to the fuel tank, but this doesn't work to well, might be the placement but im not sure. If any one has any ideas or pics of similar jobs and can help me out i'd really appreciate it. Cheers

I had a mate who had a 10 cut into the cab wall, between the cab and tray, then made up an enclosure in the tray, but had some probs with sealing it properly. Another mate with a VU has a couple under his try in the same location as you but has ported it

There are a couple of vent holes thru into the cab.
Build a ported box inside the undertray, and port it into the cab via one of the existing holes. You may need to cut a hole in the rear bulkhead carpet/trim, but you won't have to cut metal that way. |
