i have a vl commodore and am trying to remove the ignition lock, i don't have the ignition key and the barrel lock is loose and shakey but will not come off. as i pull on it the ignition flicks to accesories and as i push it back in it switches back off. is there any way i can remove it without the ignotion key.

Tessa, might be someone here that can help but I think the Holden boys might be the best ones to ask. Best you click on the Lion emblem rather than the Ford one.

Tessa,
You need the key to remove the lock as it has to be in the on position and the pin in the slot behind the blinker switch depressed before it will come out. Can you get the car to a wrecker, if so try all there keys, you should find one to fit!
