IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN AUSTRALIA DID NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF PETROL FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES. AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OVER 4

Surely you dont expect LPG to stay cheap !
Mr Hobbitt has shares in the Manildra group who produce ethanol for fuel mixes. Once ppl cotton on to LPG, the Lib's mates will get a tap on the shoulder from fuel companies etc to slug LPG.

It's a real shame politics has degraded to the state it has. Originally we would have selected our local representative, who would push for stuff on behalf of his/her constituents. Nowadays it's all about getting votes, and unfortunately in safe seats we |

I for one am cutting back on a few things in order to try and compensate for the current fuel prices.
I can't really complain as I own all my cars out right and am well paid, but I still don't like coughing up $92 to fill up me EA Wagon on Monday (and

I'm also starting to wonder about those with token Company cars to keep them happy and hence not leave. We've got a few GenIII company cars at work, like SV8s and Statesmans. The company pays to run them. I wonder if the position will be re-evaluated with |

That skateboard has pretty good economy! Time we put that idea into mass production mode!! Think about it - if we sell 500 of them in 6months @ $200 each... We'll be millionaire wannabe's, but we could actually afford to fill our cars up!

In relation to Munromad's post - i have recently given up smoking saving myself $280 per month! Think about it - a pack a day into week - $70 (roughly cos i smoked less than pack a day), monthly - $280! Yearly.... that's $3640! That's a lot of money!

On a serious note and along lines of cutting back, my Dad (eons ago) told me of a poster in the UK during WW2. It said:
"IS YOUR TRIP REALLY NECESSARY ?!" So now we just cut back dont we?
I work from home..lucky I guess..but I dont move the Q unless

All the above have been very good points and generaly cover the feelings of most people. We are paying (as of to day)$1.47 per lt for ULP and 65.9 for LPG and Diesel is $148.9 a Lt. The government is hoping for $3.00 per Lt by the year 2007 with parity pr |

This doesnt explain why we had $28/brl before that ding-bay US president invaded Iraq and now all of a sudden our oil reserves have run out.
Yes I agree India and China are an issue as well, but it was Iraq that started it off, and Iraq has m
