How old is your battery, and how good is the alternator charging?
The airbag & ABS lights will pop up at the first sniff of a low voltage. |

THANKS for your replies guys!
battery an alternator seem to be ok.. It used to be just traction control and abs lights that came on, the others have just recently joined them... being an intermitant fault its proving very hard to find.. I may take it

Yes, the fans do come on in limp mode.
Im thinking if its only ABS & traction to start with, then Id be looking at a wheel speed sensor, but if its the main engine light too, then the vehicle speed sender (in the gearbox) could be playing up.

Hi Guys.
This is a common problem with VT/VX on cars that have ABS & traction control.
Because all of the ECUs, including the dash & warning lights are all connected to a CAN (control area network) a fault in any of the ECUs will affect the others.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
