Umm, not far at all.

Since I posted the original pics I have also picked up a HT Monaro coupe and that will be done before the XB.

I a

How bad for rust is the donor car? Compared to some of the coupes I've seen people rebuilding of late it still looks savable especially when you look at the replacement metal that is out there on the market now.

You're probably right there. I guess anything is saveable if you are willing to spend the time (and have the skills) to do it.

Well the JG37 tells me it was from a Fairlane 500.
The NM means it was a March 73 built engine.

I'm not sure but the K on the end may signify 351 but I am not sure about that.

Hi Spanners,

Building a coupe and being cash strapped don't exactly go together well. Parts for these cars are pulling decent money as a lot of them are hard to get.

Are you after anything in particular??

I'm a Muscle Car Fan. It's as simple as that.
While Monaro's are my ultimate passion I generally like any old Holden and I also love XB coupes, XY GT's and there's one or two valiants I wouldn't mind owning either.
