Hi. Ive got a complete holden air-con unit from a HZ statsmen to put in my HZ V8 ute. Ive had mixed advise from people about them saying there not worth the hassle of fitting. and the ariginal pumps are crap. others say there ok. the unit on the fire wall is pretty ugly to considering im try to dress up the engine bay. so im after any advise from people about factory air-con or after market under dash units.

You need the ducting for the HJ to WB it is different on the HQ, also make sure you get the vent cables to the controls they are different as well. Fitting after market under dash simplifies that and many cars had after market fitted by the dealers so cou

Mate take it from me haveing fited a factory air-con unit to my HZ Wagon with an updeated compressor I reckon it is worth the hassle as for the fire wall well there is not a lot that can be done but if you want to keep it neat then aftermarket is the way

ITS AS SIMPLE AS THIS, YOU WANT AIR THEN FIT THE INTERGATED AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, REPLACE THE OLD COMPRESSOR JOB FOR THE COMMORDORE SANDON FITTED UNIT AND MOD YOUR HOSES TO SUIT 134A GAS. OTHERWISE SWEAT IN SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how desperate you are to clean up that firewall (and still have A/C and heater) but depending on your budget you can try a Vintage air unit. They are a complete A/C and heater that sit up under the dash, best thing is they are small and have
