T5 box Options

Grinds into second something shocking, syncro, fair enough but could it damage the main shaft. Iv been skipping 2nd gear and going to 3rd to avoid crunching. Is there main faults with these boxes? You know what they say...If you cant find 'em...grind'em Matt

From the factory they ran their own (MX7) Nissan 5 speed, which was stronger than the non-turbo version(MF5). It would be a backward step going to a T5. A lot of people aim to achieve nothing

The Nissan box behind the VL 6 is a much nicer box to shift than the T5, and they are much more refined than the T5. I was actually thinking along the lines
