HI,i have to replace my 1990 xf cylinder head but found out that they have 2 different sorts,1 is a kidney shape chamber around the inlet/exhaust valves and the other is oval shaped around the inlet/exhaust valves can someone tell me the difference between them.

the unleaded/late heads have the kidney shaped chamber and are fine in most aplications.the eairly leaded heads have the round then the oval shaped chamber,these are better heads for preformance,there stronger and have a better chamber and are "THE" head
