The usual amount you'll get out of your motor with a filter change is about that!! The capacity of your motor (5.0 litres) is not the oil sump capacity <----- Just making sure!!
".....and it's 186 cubic inches.... AROUND"!!

Well steve, this all depends on a few variables!! We could get technical here and say "the sump capacity is indeed 4.8ltrs, but when the dipstick reads full it may only contain - say, 4.3ltrs"! It also depends on how long your car has been sitting (alth

Hot engine, flat floor, jack car up on opposite to drain plug, and there is always enough old crappy oil to turn new oil black ! bugger.

I had a mate who raced a VERY hotted up Mini many moons ago. This Mini would drag off a 351 powered XD Falcon up to about 130 KMH! He ALWAYS did 2 oil changes within 50 K's of each other at 5,000 K intervals...
New oil won't have the sludge and garbage
