I have a 1999 VS ute with the 5.0 litre and getrag gearbox. I have not long fitted a factory cruise control set-up out of a VS Statesman. It worked fine around town, but after about 200km of highway driving, the engine light came on with the fault code 19, which Holden said is the Throttle Position Sensor. I have since replaced the sensor with a new one, but the light is still coming on. Also, the cruise control isn't quite as smooth as other Commodores I have driven and the cruise seems to drop out on smooth straight roads (the same as when you touch either the brake or clutch pedal). Can anyone shed any light on this problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt,
The cause of the cruise dropping out is more than likely the brake switch that needs adjusting. The best way to do this is to take the lower dash panel off and then switch the ignition to ON. Turn the cruise on and hold the set button in and win

Thanks for the help Rhys.
I had the brake and clutch switches adjusted pretty much as you described with about 5mm travel before the cruise cuts out so obviously I need to look into the actuator side of things.
On the same note though, does anyone know
