Hi people

I am going to look at a 308 later this week. What are the features that would tell me what style block it is - trimatic or turbo hydro.

The location of the top two holes. 4-speed blocks have the holes right in the corners where the flat bit (where the dizzy is) and the sloped bits (behind the decks) join. They also have small dowels. The TH block has the top two holes down about an inch f

Are the Trimatic and the 4 speed block the same?

Hi Mark,

Yes, the 4 speed and Trimatic blocks are identical, the Turbo (Chev) pattern blocks are different.
