hi,
can i bolt my 4 barrell carby out of my 308 hq, straight on to the manifold (edelbrock torker) without using a spacer? What is the spacer used for. (just had carby recoed)

Normally yes. It will depend upon whether the Holley is a spreadbore or squarebore, and if the Torker has facility for both patterns on it (normally they do). 'Spacers' are used for a number of things:

1. Change from spread to square bore or vice versa
