hello all, just a question about 186 numbers i have numbers stamped 186P then the engine number i've been told this is a ht/g/k version of the hp 186 engine is this true?

No. It's simply a HK/T/G 186. Nothing special. Just a cast iron crank 186. The 186S is the performance version of the 186 in the HK-HG range. There is no such thing as a 186HP, unless you count an EH 179 bored +0.060" as a 186HP, but even then it's no dif
