Wait about 1/2 hr Starts perfectly and then the same thing happens all over again.
I Have back probed the Computer and it gives a code 12 ...All systems GO. I have replaced Plugs; Plug Leads and even swapped the coilpack out of my Missus' VP ....but the same thing keeps happening. ANY IDEAS....ANYONE

Those probs are classic symptoms of a stuffed crank angle sensor - it mounts to the front of the motor behind the harmonic balancer (bottom pulley).

As an added diagnosis, carry a 2L soft drink bottle full of water in the boot. Next time it stops, pou

Thanks Mick,
I did as you said and it started pretty much straight away....only lasted for about 30 secs before heating up again and Karking it. Sounds like this is the problem. Ill get another sensor and hopefully be back in business again. Once again

Well after locating another Crank angle sensor from the wreckers, I put it in and the problem still exists. BUGGER. Mick...does the Delco need to be reset after replacing the sensor, or could it possibly be an o2 sensor

Don't buy these second hand as it is just as likely to be crook as the one you took out....
