hi
i have a VX wagon auto v6 and i want to know if it would be up to towing a cartrailer with my HR on it.
im thinking of putting a trans cooler on it what else should i look at doing or should i get another car to tow with

IIRC, the VX V6 automatic has a towing capacity of 1600 kg with the Hayman-Reece type towbar or 1200 kg with the normal flat-tongue type towbar.

HR's weigh about 1225 kg, so your trailer cannot weigh more than 375 kg.

wow, a fair few uears agao I towed a Toyota corolla on a cartrailer behind a WB ute from Bris to Sydney and never once wondered if it was the right thing to do?!? Well done for using your brain...
