Anyone heard of a Be-Ute, it was a HT holden ute with all GTS running gear, apparently it was an option pac.

Any info/photo's would be appresiated.

It may be a week or so before I can find the information but the ute, IIRC, was a styling exercise/showcar put together by Holden and based on an HT or HG ute. I think it was painted Purr-pull, wasn't it?

Dave, at the risk of getting laughed at...what's IIRC mean?

BTW, i did get your message re the wiper switch last week(?) sorry i didn't reply yet but i'm hoping i can lose the VL altogether before much longer :)

around 17 a mate had a hg ute it was white it had all the gts gear 253 4 spead gts gards dash bonit and paint outs it had black trim that was gts console seats and the door trims it think had gts in them like the monaro from memory i think he sead that gm
looking for an ex ambulance based on the hj/x/z 2 tonner see photo

and collector of all things ambulance police fire and the odd hq to wb parts

You could order most of the GTS stuff on any HK-HG, but not guards and HT/G bonnet, nor GTS badges (inside or out). Saginaws were the standard gearbox behind a V8 if you ordered a 4-speed. On the commercial vehicles all 4-speeds were Saginaws. I've seen p
