Hi Guys, as some of you may know I'm wrecking a HT ute + I'm trying to remove the doors. I have taken out all 8 hinge bolts on either side + I haven't forced anything yet, BUT! both doors are still holding on as firmly as if the bolts are still in there...is there a trick to getting the buggers off or do i just need more anger? :O Cheers, Elton. BTW, Kel if you read this i've removed the front panels and the rails are good on both sides. Edited by user Sunday, 13 November 2005 8:03:24 AM(UTC)

If they haven't been off for a long time (or were put back on when the paint was fresh), they will be held on by the paint or some surface rust.
A bit if BFI should fix it.
Cheers...Dave

To protect your toes replace the upper bolts about halfway and loosen the bottom hinge first. It is a lot easier to control a heavy door if it still fixed at the top.
