Hi all,

Have recently fitted a Crane Fireball electronic ignition to my 6 cyl HZ. The car starts better (even cold on gas), however I now have a fault whereby the gas system 'clicks' at the tank end and the lpg tank fuel gauge flashes on the dash at the same time while driving along. This fault only started after the new ignition system was installed, and is only intermittant with no set pattern. Any ideas what the link is? The ignition module is fitted behind the lpg convertor on the inner guard, but I can't see what the link would be?? Any assistance would be appreciated.

The LPG conversion (specifically the LPG safety relay) relies upon 'seeing' the engine run by monitoring the coil. It is possible the Crane ignition is creating a 'waveform' (more correctly a pulsetrain) that is outside the parameters of what the

If you have no luck investigating the coil, check your power supply lines to each device - don't share the same feed to the ignition system & gas system, as the current drawn by the coil may not leave enough to keep the gas solenoids open.

I've had thi
