Hi edelbrock1.

AFAIK the Nitron only existed in the VP series. It was a dealer marketing special & only 50 were made. The were final-finished by HSV under contract in July '92 so too late for HDT or Polarisers.

I have no info on a VL Nitron.

Hmmm so it seems that they did exist. So why does no one know about them?? Does that make them collectable?? or Not??

Last thing you want to be doing is justifying your car to all the guys out there that dont know they exist.

I can also confirm that the VL Nitron exists because I've been in one.
It was red in colour and 5 speed manual, and had all the HDT options that commodorenut listed. Me and a mate took one on a test drive and gave it heaps, went well too.... Didnt notice
