Hi there,
Have a blue 202 WB with a choke problem. Choke had been converted to manual but was a dodgy conversion and was more trouble than it was worth. Recently bought a new choke element ($110!!!) hooked it all up but the choke butterfly gets stuck about half way and half choke isn't enough to do the job. Playing around with it reveals the butterfly itself is loose and doesn't bind, but once you attach the choke elelment it jams. I thought it may be the butterfly arm coming into contact with the element casing, not so.
It turns out to be as soon as any tension gets onto the elements housing (ie the 3 screws to secure it) it binds, just the SLIGHTEST pressure on ANY of the 3 screws and it causes the butterfly to stick half way. I've tried shimming it, but no change. Needless to say I'm running around with a very loose choke element which isn't really suitable.

Anyone have any ideas on this one??
Cheers
