hey guys
I am starting to get started on my HT ute and the first thing i want to do for it is to buy rack and pinion steering for it. i have been told to go to CRS so i emailed them and they said $625 for the rack and pinion kit does any one no what this consist off and i want to convent my front end to disc brake most likely HQ.
is there any other places that do rack and pinion steering?
well thats about it for now any info would be very helpfull.

I looked at a HK sedan a few weeks ago that was for sale. It had a rack and pinion setup, with a 186 and powerglide. I think he'd used an EH sump. The car was a factory Warrigal black Kingswood sedan, with factory buckets and column shift. He wanted $500

I live in far north queensland and i would rather buy it brand new rather than second hand and have to do it agian cause its buggered. so does any one no about these kits and what to look for and the best place to buy them.

it looks like a lot of mucky around and its not as cheap a crs.

All I know is in my personal opinion I would go for Rods Racks as that is what he specialises in. I could have driven to CRS to get one cheaper, but I didn't as I preferred certain qualities of the RR rack conversion. One reason it is dearer is because he
